Luke Chapter 21 is speaking to all who will hear
The world is trembling in fear
War and rumors of war appear
Plagues and earthquakes are drawing near.

Nations rise and knowledge grows
As prophetic ancient scriptures show
People are rushing to and fro
Signs that everyone should observe and know.

The news tells us to be afraid
In panic and fear we are daily swayed
But God’s people are not dismayed
On His word their trust is laid.

Do not consume news fearful lie
Look up and watch the eastern sky
Redemption is drawing nigh
Hear the promise from God on high.

Luke 21:28, stand up, lift your head
Do not be filled with fear and dread
God’s promise is true and always able
When everything seems so unstable
To strengthen and to hold
The Bible’s story that was foretold.

Plagues and earthquakes across the land
Famine’s grip with a heavy hand
These signs described in ancient sand
Now we see them as God planned.

All the patterns of this day and age
Written on the prophet’s page
Events converge on history’s stage
Turning our focus to the final page.

Ancient scrolls on a dusty shelf
Words the Prophet Daniel held
Searching for a sign for God to come
Get ready the countdown has begun
We’ve crossed every border line
We’re quickly running out of borrowed time.

Knowledge is rising, the world is moving fast
Knowledge is rising, the future’s in the past
Information travels at the speed of light
Knowledge is rising, out of sight
Jet engines scream across the blue
Always rushing to something new.

Isaiah 41, God said “Fear not I am with you
My word is ever and always true
I will help and see you through
With my hand, I’ll strengthen you.

Isaiah 41: 10-13 states:
Fear not for I am with you
be not dismayed for I am your God
I will strengthen you,
I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”.
