A Biblical Pattern – Frank Poland: Lyrics & Music – In seeing how God uses certain men to achieve His objective, I cannot help but draw a parallel between the story of Joseph and President Donald Trump in the way God continues to use him to began the repair of this ‘broken’ nation of America.

Look at how God used Moses: Delivered the Ten Commandments to guide moral conduct. Parted the Red Sea to facilitate the escape from Egypt. Provided manna from heaven to sustain the Israelites in the desert. Interceded with God on behalf of the people during times of rebellion. Established laws and guidelines for worship and community living. Led the Israelites through 40 years of wandering in the wilderness.

God used Daniel as a significant biblical figure known for his unwavering faith, wisdom, and prophetic insights during the Babylonian exile, serving as a model of integrity and trust in God.

The story in this posting reflects how Joseph rose from betrayal and slavery to become Egypt’s second-in-command, saving his family and many others from famine while exemplifying faith, integrity, and forgiveness.

In 1930, a young lady named Mary Anne MacLeod came to the United States from Scotland, an immigrant that became a citizen in 1942 working as a maid in New York. She married a young German immigrant named Fred Trump. They had 2 girls and 3 boys. One of those boys was Donald J. Trump. Think about that, only one generation from immigrant family to the most significant leader in the world!

A quick look at the adversity that Donald Trump has faced since he became President. The Mainstream Media, the FBI, intelligence agencies, the CIA, Big Tech, and the entire Washington establishment joined forces in an unprecedented campaign to destroy a single man. The numerous lawsuits, the impeachments, the endless hoaxes including the Russia hoax, the Mar-a-Lago raid, the gag orders, the efforts to remove him from the ballot, the attempts to bankrupt him and throw him in prison… all of that was aimed at preventing him from becoming President.

With 92% of media coverage being negative toward him while 78% of that for Kamala was positive, he managed to secure a convincing victory in 2024. How does one explain that? That’s when it became undeniable that no one faces this level of coordinated and hysterical opposition unless they represent a true existential threat to the system. The system we all know is corrupt and broken. Ordinary politicians don’t trigger this kind of coordinated panic.
An ongoing concerted effort to remove him from leadership continues. He has been impeached twice, 3 assassination attempts, blocked from social media, 50 restraining orders, 100 personal lawsuits, 753 administrative lawsuits, home raided by the FBI, News Media publishing all stories as negative news, attempted ballot disqualification, 186 currently active lawsuits in court as of May, 2026, the Democratic Party’s mission – block everything Donald Trump proposes regardless of reason, rhyme or purpose. Yet, through it all, he still stands!

A BIBLICAL PATTERN
In the days of Joseph, he stood very tall,
He had visions seeing through each and all,
His gift was a beacon, a light in the night,
Powerful men saw danger, trembling with fright.

His brothers conspired with jealousy bred,
Stripped him of dreams, left his spirit for dead,
In a pit deep and dark, their hatred was sown,
His chains launched him to a throne yet unknown.

Sold for silver, a fate wrought in strife,
To Egypt was taken, where danger met life,
Sold to Potiphar, Pharaoh’s Captain of might,
Yet even in bondage, his spirit took flight.

To the heart of Potiphar’s house, his talents bestowed,
Yet temptation would rise as he served the household,
Potiphar’s wife, with allure, sought to ensnare,
But Joseph stood firm, with courage laid bare.

A falsehood arose, jealousy’s bitter stain,
In prison he landed, shackled in pain,
From dampened despair where no sun dared to peek,
Every door that was locked would soon hear him speak.

He spoke life to visions while others lay still,
Each locked door began to unlock by his will,
From chains of misfortune, to rise he was meant,
Genesis Chapter 41, birthed, his message was sent.

Then Pharaoh called forth this dreamer so true,
Who revealed Pharaoh’s futures with wisdom anew,
Pharaoh’s signet ring was given him a fateful morn,
Authority over Egypt, his robe brightly worn.

In opposition’s fire, true strength is refined,
For each heavy blow is a pathway designed,
Moses faced armies draped fierce amid grime,
Daniel defied lions through faith at all times.

A Biblical Pattern where God’s mercy stirs fires,
Through trials embraced, fuels a purpose that inspires,
Not saying today’s Leader mirrors in struggle and fight,
But a man who stands firm, finds his path filled with God’s light.

From our leader’s many trials and chaos an anthem will spring,
The pattern is clear, our Leader, like Joseph will bring,
Yet even today in tumult and glee,
With fortitude as Believers, the bright future we’ll see.
