How Frank Steil wrote the song “God’s Story For You”. Martha and I were in Florida at our condo, Martha was at the beach and I was in the condo with Maggie, our dog, because the unstable sand causes my knees to hurt. I am not a song writer. I do not know the mechanics of writing a song. It was a still small voice from within that impressed me to get a paper and pencil. The Holy Spirit gave me a title for the song and then the words for the song came forth as I wrote them down. I had no idea how to put music to it. I gave the song to several people who I thought could help . Nothing was forthcoming for the lyrics. Frank Poland , who sings with me in the SonLife Quartet ask for the lyrics. Frank had a website , FrankPenned.com, to display songs he had written. He put voices and music to the song. It truly is the Lords song and not my song. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
